It is important to read the Bible and understand it in our own language in order to live a godly life. The King James Version remains popular in churches today, but simpler words help kids understand it better. Conservative Anabaptists think it is important to change the words in the Bible to keep them true to the original language. Churches should have a rule about which Bible translations to use and multiple translations should be used from trusted sources. The King James Version or the Textus Receptus should be used if possible. The Bible has some words that don’t match other versions, and sometimes we change them even though it’s not accurate.
