Brian encourages us to recognize the importance of the church in God’s plan. He reminds us that the values we hold—like hard work, strong families, and community—bless places like Allegheny Boys Camp. These values are taught in our homes and churches, and they shape young people before they even arrive at camp.
God designed the church as one of His special institutions. As part of the church, we are like members of a body, each with a role to play. We need to contribute, support each other, and work together, even when our tasks seem small. Brian urges us to stay connected and be “relational”—to show love and care for each other so our community sees God’s love in us.
He also challenges us to put others’ needs first, pray for our church, and involve our families positively in church life. Our children learn from us, so we should speak about the church in ways that build them up.
Finally, he reminds us to embrace righteousness, reject wickedness, and share the message of Jesus with the lost. The church is here to make a difference, and when we live out these values, we strengthen God’s kingdom.
Let’s love each other, serve faithfully, and stand together as God’s people.
