If you read carefully you will notice that while the stone tablets were hewed out by Moses, the actual writing was done by God’s own hand. My, wouldn’t that be something for the Israelites to tell their children! “Children, inside that Tabernacle is a room called the Holy of Holies, and inside there is a chest, and inside the chest are two tablets of stone that God himself inscribed.” How special that must have been!
