Have you ever wondered how the Old Testament and the New relate to each other? And how it is that scripture says, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever” (Hebrews 13:8), yet there seem to be so many differences between the two?
What did Jesus mean when he said he came not to destroy the law, but to fulfill it? The Ten Commandments—are they obsolete? (It says the Old Covenant is obsolete in Hebrews 8:13.) But weren’t the commandments good?
This subject should probably be taught by some learned theological scholar. But in the absence of such a scholar, Merle is saying that it may not be as complicated as we might think.
